Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. seeks a Project Manager for a remote, contract role focused on strategic initiatives within the client division. You will own small to mid-sized projects, develop business cases and work plans, and drive execution across Strategy, PMO, and Integration Management.

You will mentor team members, build strong partnerships with DC-area stakeholders, and communicate updates to senior leaders. Strong IT, healthcare, and process-improvement experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 16+ years in progressive consulting leadership role, providing full lifecycle services in enterprise environment.
• 16+ years managing, coordinating, and establishing priorities for entire project lifecycle.
• Experience in health and human services domain (DC) or similar.
• Experience with SDLC requirements gathering and business process definition.
• Knowledge of health and human services programs and policies.
• Experience with stakeholder management and complex project coordination.
• Experience driving end-to-end project lifecycles in IT and healthcare contexts.
• Experience using industry standard project management tools.

Client is looking for a Project Manager for its program.

Complete Description:
The PM shall serve within the client Division with a focus on Strategic Initiatives. The contractor will play a key role across the client Division including Strategy, Project Management, and Integration Management. The PM will achieve this by actively owning management of small to mid-sized projects, which may include conducting analyses to solve business problems, and developing strategic business cases, workplans, and/or recommending new operational plans for Business. Additionally, the PM will support the success of the client Division by mentoring other team members and developing strong relationships with partners across the District. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the client Program Management Administration policies, practices, and procedures. The PM leads planning and management of small to mid-sized organizational initiatives and activities, including conducting analyses, building business cases, developing project and operational management plans, and driving execution. Supports development of client teams to foster collaboration, and effectively conveys and expresses ideas in writing and verbally to individuals and groups, including senior leaders. Develops timelines and detailed workplans to create structure for initiative teams to plan and coordinate activities and resources. Develops recommendations based on data from multiple stakeholders, and leverages data to support and inform timely, effective decisions. Develop, produce, and deliver executive presentations, program updates, and set and articulate goals and timelines to executive leadership.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
