GovStrive is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Washington, DC to lead federal contract efforts, supervise contractor personnel, and maintain strong customer relationships. This on-site role emphasizes delivery, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, monitor performance, and ensure contractual obligations are met while communicating with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field; or PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing contracts of similar size, scope and complexity with day-to-day oversight and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Project Manager and liaison between GovStrive leadership and the customer.
  • Oversee day-to-day contract operations, service delivery, and contractor personnel.
  • Coordinate project schedules, activities, and resources to meet SOA requirements.
  • Track performance metrics, milestones, and contractual requirements.
  • Provide regular status updates and performance reporting.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for contract activities and serve as the primary liaison between TBI/GovStrive leadership and the customer. This position is responsible for managing project execution, contractor personnel, service delivery, schedules, performance, compliance, and reporting to ensure contractual requirements and customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary Project Manager and liaison between TBI/GovStrive leadership and the customer.
  • Provide administrative and management support and guidance to customer representatives and agency stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day contract operations, service delivery, and contractor personnel.
  • Manage task order execution and ensure technical solutions, deliverables, and project schedules are implemented effectively and on time.
  • Coordinate project schedules, activities, and resources to ensure alignment with customer objectives and Statement of Work requirements.
  • Monitor contractor personnel performance and ensure assigned responsibilities and performance expectations are met.
  • Track project performance metrics, deliverables, milestones, and other contractual requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions, applicable regulations, and established performance requirements.
  • Oversee financial reporting and analysis to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Identify project risks, performance concerns, or potential issues and work with leadership and customer representatives to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain effective communication with company leadership, customer representatives, agency stakeholders, and project personnel.
  • Provide regular project status updates and performance reporting as required.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance project performance, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other project management and contract-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related field; or
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity, including responsibility for day-to-day oversight, service delivery, compliance, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing contractor personnel, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and performance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
