Job description

We're looking for a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from initial planning through final completion — owning budgets, timelines, and execution along the way.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Serve as the main point of contact for the client, owner, and their representatives — fielding questions, resolving design issues, and working through scope changes, quality concerns, or scheduling delays as they come up
• Build out project plans, budgets, and schedules, and keep them on track
• Foster strong working relationships across the team and broader project community to head off obstacles before they become problems; communicate proactively on requirements and changes
• Sit in on pre-bid and progress meetings, contributing input and relaying key takeaways to the estimating and leadership teams
• Keep a pulse on the financial health of each project to help maintain steady, predictable revenue
• Understand project specs and plans inside and out, and support Superintendents with scheduling and phasing decisions; flag potential issues early, before they affect the timeline or budget
• Partner with other business units to shape new solutions, share insights, and help identify future opportunities
• Coordinate with manufacturers on new and existing products — giving feedback and resolving delivery or quality issues
• Cultivate long‑term relationships with both current and prospective clients and contractors
• Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to spec
• Identify and manage risk, building contingency plans where needed
• Keep leadership and other stakeholders updated with regular status reports
• Make sure all work stays compliant with applicable codes and standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5–10 years in commercial construction and project management. Drywall/interiors experience is a plus.
• Solid project management chops — planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation — along with comfort in Microsoft Office and PM software
• Strong communicator who works well with a wide range of people: clients, contractors, vendors
• A natural leader who can manage a team but also get things done independently
• Valid driver's license, with the ability to travel between job sites and company locations as needed
