Job Summary:

A Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Below are the key responsibilities and skills associated with a project manager's role:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Project Planning
  • Define project scope: Clearly outline what the project will deliver and any limitations.
  • Create a project timeline: Develop a schedule that includes all phases of the project with deadlines.
  • Resource allocation: Determine what resources (people, equipment, materials) are needed to complete the project.
• Team Coordination
  • Assemble the team: Identify and bring together individuals with the necessary skills to work on the project.
  • Assign tasks: Delegate responsibilities to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
  • Facilitate communication: Ensure that all team members are informed about their roles and any changes in the project's direction.
• Monitoring Progress
  • Track milestones: Regularly check progress against the timeline to ensure that deadlines are being met.
  • Manage risks: Identify potential issues early and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Adjust plans as needed: Be flexible in modifying schedules or resources if challenges arise.
• Stakeholder Engagement
