FoodServiceIQ is seeking a Project & Operations Manager to optimize their operations and improve client experiences. In this full-time remote position, you will manage internal tools, client projects, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has project management experience and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

FoodServiceIQ helps restaurant operators improve profitability by optimizing their food costs and supply chain. We combine deep industry expertise, data analysis, and hands-on negotiation to deliver measurable savings for restaurant groups. Our goal is to become the trusted partner for restaurant operators nationwide, helping them navigate rising costs, complex distributor relationships, and changing market dynamics. We act as an extension of our clients’ teams - managing their supply chain strategy so they can focus on running their business.
This is a full-time, remote role for a talented Project & Operations Manager who loves building systems, solving problems, and driving projects forward. In this role, you’ll work directly with the founders to organize and operationalize all aspects of FoodServiceIQ - from internal tools and processes, to client delivery workflows, to reporting and business operations.
This is a broad role with exposure to every part of the business. You’ll lead the implementation and optimization of our tech stack (Zoho CRM, Quickmail, LaunchControl, Airtable, etc.), help manage client projects and reporting, and drive internal process improvements that help us scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage implementation, integration, and ongoing maintenance of internal tools like Zoho CRM, Quickmail, LaunchControl, Airtable, and others.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or process-related issues across tools.
• Automate recurring processes wherever possible to improve efficiency.
Project Management & Client Operations
• Support client onboarding, reporting, and ongoing deliverables to ensure a great client experience.
• Build and maintain project trackers, templates, and dashboards to keep the team organized.
• Coordinate across internal and external teams to keep projects on track and ensure accountability.
Process & Operations Improvement
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in how we work - then help design and implement better systems.
• Develop playbooks, SOPs, and documentation for key processes.
• Support marketing and sales operations - including lead management, CRM hygiene, ad campaign execution.
Data Management & Reporting
• Own and maintain clean, accurate data across platforms.
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal use and client delivery.
• Assist in financial reporting, KPI tracking, and other
business metrics.
Skills & Qualifications Required
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or systems implementation - ideally within a startup, consulting, or client-service environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; you’re comfortable managing multiple projects, people, and deadlines at once.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Zoho preferred) and other tools like Quickmail, LaunchControl, Airtable, or similar systems.
• A process-oriented mindset with a passion for solving problems, building systems, and creating order out of chaos.
• Comfort with data management, reporting, and light analysis. You know your way around spreadsheets, dashboards, and cleaning up messy data.
• Strong communication skills. You’re clear, proactive, and able to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Tech-savvy and resourceful, you are able to figure things out independently, troubleshoot issues, and learn new tools quickly.
