Reports to: Global Manager - Project Management (US based)
Location: United States (Remote)
We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves on delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Business Operations, Operations Support, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you will be part of our leadership team and work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.
The Project Manager 4 leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology initiatives supporting physical security operations and critical infrastructure environments across the Americas. Serving as the connection between business requirements, security operations, engineering, product and tooling teams, vendors, and client stakeholders, this role translates operational needs into secure, scalable technical solutions.
The Project Manager 4 manages initiatives from requirements definition and solution evaluation through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handoff. Success requires strong program and project management capability, technical acumen, stakeholder leadership, and practical understanding of physical security technologies, enterprise platforms, systems integration, data, and automation.
As Project Manager 4, you'll lead technology initiatives that support the security mission and client priorities—from the first planning conversations through launch, the transition to operations, and the delivery of expected benefits. You'll define the scope, business and technical requirements, schedules, milestones, budgets, staffing plans, oversight, and measurable goals. You'll turn business and security needs into clear technical requirements, roadmaps, workflows, implementation plans, and operating processes that teams can sustain.
A Project Manager 4 will also be able to hold and articulate requirements in high level design reviews, driving project to scale and ensure foundation build meets long term goals.
You'll work closely with security operations, engineering, IT, product, analytics, vendors, contractors, and regional business teams to bring solutions to life. This includes coordinating the rollout and integration of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and related platforms. You'll help teams agree on APIs, data pipelines, automation, system integrations, and technical standards that improve reliability, data quality, decision-making, and the ability to support operations at scale.
You'll keep delivery on track by managing scope, schedules, quality, budgets, risks, dependencies, issues, changes, resources, and the activities that determine the overall timeline. You'll evaluate whether solutions meet functional needs and can scale, stay secure, work with other systems, perform reliably, and fit day‑to‑day operations. You'll also review deliverable quality, interpret technical documents and specifications, identify gaps in coverage or performance, and resolve dependencies between teams.
As solutions move toward launch, you'll coordinate testing, system validation, commissioning, release readiness, deployment, and handoff to operations. You'll manage third‑party vendors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and technology partners to ensure they meet contractual commitments, technical requirements, budgets, and delivery milestones.
You'll create project documentation, technical workflows, implementation plans, dashboards, forecasts, and status reports for senior leaders. You'll clearly explain progress, risks, cost impacts, technical trade‑offs, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Along the way, you'll apply artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), intelligent automation, system integration, and data‑driven solutions to improve processes and operational results. You'll also drive ongoing improvement and establish repeatable standards for delivering technical programs.
We're looking for a program leader who combines technical knowledge with the ability to bring teams together and manage complex initiatives in physical security and enterprise technology. You'll bring a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, project management, security, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience. You'll also have 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably leading technical or technology‑enabled initiatives.
You'll have a track record of successfully managing work across engineering, IT, security, operations, product teams, technology vendors, or client stakeholders. You'll know how to manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality, risks, dependencies, changes, and resources, including the activities that determine the overall delivery timeline. You'll be able to turn business and operational needs into clear technical requirements, solution designs, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
You'll bring working knowledge of technology implementation, systems integration, networking, software platforms, technical infrastructure, APIs, data pipelines, automation, or data engineering. You'll also have experience coordinating testing, commissioning, releases, vendors, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partners, and handoffs to operations. You'll be able to analyze data and create dashboards, forecasts, and reports using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, along with experience using Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, or comparable planning and collaboration tools.
You'll be a strong analytical thinker and problem‑solver who can present ideas clearly, negotiate, influence others, and communicate with senior leaders. Experience with physical security technology—such as access control, CCTV or video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarm systems, or security management platforms—is preferred. We also prefer candidates with PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum, PSP, CPP, or a comparable professional certification, as well as experience with data center infrastructure or taking artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), automation, integration, or data solutions from prototype to production.
You'll be organized, self‑directed, and adaptable, with the ability to balance competing priorities while working across teams and reporting relationships. The role requires approximately 25% travel, a valid passport, and occasional night or weekend work. You'll also need reliable communication and transportation, legal authorization to work in the job location, and proficiency in spoken and written English.
We offer more than just a job — we offer the chance to be part of a supportive, collaborative team where your contributions and professional growth are valued. You will work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment on a prestigious multinational client account, gaining firsthand exposure to global operations and cross‑regional collaboration, along with opportunities for local and international travel. Through continuous learning, training programs, and clear career growth pathways, we will help you build your skills, succeed, and advance.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, possess the legal right to work in the job location, and be willing to complete the company’s pre‑employment screening process, including a background check and drug screening. This position requires—with or without reasonable accommodation—the physical and mental ability to perform all essential job functions effectively. This includes maintaining composure under pressure while interacting with clients, authorities, executives, and staff; working independently without direct supervision; and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. The role involves regular use of a computer and keyboard, frequent lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity for both near and far distances, as well as the ability to adjust focus, is required. The position may involve handling sensitive or confidential information and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet operational demands.
