About the Role
This individual will play a pivotal role in executing on the GM priorities, improving efficiency in the GM organization, managing the Global Markets operating cadence. You will be a thought partner to the service and sales leadership team. You will work with Servicing, Sales and partner teams to understand challenges, discover insights and implement solutions required to manage and grow our business. You are deeply curious and persistent in gaining knowledge about our sales processes, products and go-to-market strategy. Act as a key interface with finance, commercial ops, other business operations teams and strategy functions globally, oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution, and streamline operating systems to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Manage operating routines that facilitate decision-making, autonomy, leadership alignment, and team engagement, inclusive of staff meetings, operational reviews, leadership off sites, All Hands, etc. Set the agenda, participate in the meetings, document decisions, and communicate the outcomes. Drive execution of tasks and follow ups.
- Define an operating framework that enables visibility, accountability, and activation on GM priorities
- Conduct and support on strategic analysis within GM for various meetings both regular and ad hoc.
- Establish and optimize operating routines for the business unit and create supporting collateral (agendas, slides, etc.)
- Partner within and outside the GM organization to lead complex initiatives, operating at the strategic and tactical level to ensure appropriate participation and delivery
- Act as a liaison between GM and other teams, ensuring alignment and integration of GM initiatives with broader business goals
- Lead and ensure delivery against cross-functional initiatives including gathering and analysis of relevant data and development of actionable recommendations and measurements
- Collaborate with Communications partners to create an end-to-end GM communications strategy
- Partner with the People Team on a functional engagement and enrichment strategy to support the strategic growth and development of the P&P workforce (including external speaker series, development, recognition, and team building, Engage action planning, Goal Setting)
- Oversee the optimization of business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across GM
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with Corporate Environments (especially at scale)
- At least 5 years of experience in a structured, professional corporate setting
- Ideally familiar with internal processes, stakeholder management, and project environments
- Proficiency in Excel: comfort with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas, and possibly dashboards
- Proficiency in PowerPoint: ability to create executive-level presentations, organize data into slides, and convey information visually
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Experience presenting ideas and data to various audiences, including leadership
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Understanding how online or digital payments work (e.g., card processing, merchant services, transaction lifecycles)
- Experience working with or at a payments provider, fintech, or financial services company
- Experience working at or with consulting firms (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture, etc.)
- Strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving, and comfort working on high-stakes, time-sensitive projects
- No specific degree is required, but a consulting background is preferred
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $60.83/hour - $81.10/hour
