Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the main contact for high-profile or general contractor projects, organizing and leading all project communications to ensure milestones are met and profitability is maintained from start to finish. The role requires reading plans, coordinating with installers and consultants, and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.

A hybrid in-office schedule is expected, with priority given to Tuesdays through Thursdays and optional

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • 3+ PM experience required.
  • 5+ years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and reply to communications from consultants or customers.
  • Manage open order reports weekly to ensure date management.
  • Coordinate with installers, consultants or customers to verify field measurements and adherence to specs.
  • Provide milestones including ship dates and backorders to consultants or customers.
  • Maintain cross-departmental communication to meet project milestones.
  • Be available outside of normal business hours to address business needs.
  • Ensure accurate order entry based on field measures, quotes and purchase orders.
  • Organize and lead conference calls and meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Travel to job sites to review scope of work with installers or stakeholders as needed.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will be the main contact for high profile or general contractor projects as assigned. The Project Manager will confidently organize and lead all project related communications to ensure all project milestones are met. The Project Manager will be responsible for project accuracy and maintaining profitability of the project from beginning to end.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and reply to all communications from assigned consultants or customers
  • Manage open order reports on a weekly basis to ensure date management protocol is followed
  • Work with installer, consultant or customer on a detailed level to ensure project is field verified and installed per specification and / or customer expectations
  • Proactively provide consultants or customers with important order milestones including ship dates and backorders
  • Maintain communication with internal departments to ensure all project related milestones are met
  • Is routinely available outside of normal business hours to address business needs
  • Responsible for accurate order entry of product based on field measures, quotes, designer specification and purchase order
  • Organize and lead conference calls and meetings with project stakeholders
  • Travel to job sites to review scope of work with installer's or stakeholders as needed
KPIs
  • Work the open order report weekly
  • Acknowledge receipt to all emails within four hours (internal and external)
  • Ensure all orders are entered and released for production to align with project timeline and customer request
  • Ensure all orders are entered with accurate dates and monitor / update as necessary through order completion / invoicing
Qualifications
  • Education Required: High School Diploma
  • Education Preferred: 4-year degree
  • Experience Required: 3+ PM Experience
  • Experience Preferred: 5+ Years Relevant Experience
Skills
  • Required: Strong organizational skills
  • Preferred: Ability to create shop drawings/submittals
Special Requirements
  • Required: Ability to read plans
  • Preferred: Bluebeam Experience
Schedule and Location

The hybrid schedule for this role includes in-office work on Tuesdays - Thursdays, and additional onsite days may be required during the training period. Associates are expected to be in the office during this time.
