Green Key Resources is partnering with one of Nashville's most established and highly respected General Contractors to identify a Project Manager for their growing team.
This is an opportunity to join a well-capitalized, long-standing builder with a strong backlog of work across commercial, education, hospitality, justice, infrastructure, and civil projects throughout the Southeast. Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Partner closely with field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Participate in preconstruction efforts including estimating, budgeting, subcontractor solicitation, scope reviews, and constructability analysis.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, negotiations, buyouts, and contract administration.
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and project reporting.
- Lead project teams while mentoring and developing Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore, and other construction management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
