Job summary

Our client, a rapidly expanding general contractor with offices in the Southeast, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager in Nashville. You will own the financial and schedule performance, handling buyout, subcontract administration, owner/architect communications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of GC PM experience on $15M-$75M projects, proficiency with Procore and MS Project or Primavera P6, and a relevant degree such as Construction Management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience at a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing projects $15M-$75M from preconstruction through closeout.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Strong command of subcontract administration, change order management, and owner billing.
• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage buyout and subcontract administration for assigned projects.
• Coordinate owner and architect communications and RFI/submittal management.
• Review monthly pay applications and negotiate change orders.

With a current backlog exceeding $300M and several major hotel and apartment tower projects breaking ground in 2026, they are adding experienced PMs to their growing team.

As Construction Project Manager you will be responsible for the complete financial and schedule performance of your assigned projects. Core responsibilities include buyout and subcontract administration, owner and architect communication, RFI and submittal management, monthly pay application review, change order negotiation, and proactive schedule management in partnership with your field superintendent.
