Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will oversee all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to manage project timelines, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage all construction activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of labor, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain the company’s “Building on Quality” standards, ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards and AISC certification requirements.

  • Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular site inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating labor, equipment, and material deliveries to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively, offering alternative solutions to maintain project functionality and aesthetics while meeting client goals.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and quality control records, ensuring transparency and compliance with company standards.

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate on-site teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while ensuring skilled labor is effectively utilized.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction Project Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and maintain client relationships.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple project facets.

    • Proficiency in construction management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.

    • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Certifications: OSHA 30 certification preferred; additional certifications in construction safety or quality control are a plus.
