Job summary

Boson Company Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to provide overall management direction for multiple building projects.

You will plan, direct, schedule, coordinate, and organize project activities to ensure goals are achieved within time, scope, and funding parameters. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction and experience in project management or related fields, with strong communication, reading blueprints, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction and experience in project management or related field is required.
  • Ability to read and write instructions, correspondence and blueprints.
  • Ability to communicate information effectively in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate workload.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, schedules, coordinates, organizes, and oversees activities of building projects to meet goals within time and budget.
  • Serves as project信息 contact and communicates status to owners, architects, and others involved.
  • Monitors progress for compliance with schedules, budgets and safety procedures.
  • Reviews contract documents to ensure compliance.
  • Conducts project interviews and regular status meetings to communicate progress.
  • Mediates and resolves project issues and coordinates temporary facilities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Provides overall management direction to multiple construction projects. Plans, directs, schedules, coordinates, organizes & schedules activities of the building projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Essential Functions
  • Serves as the contact person for project information and communicates project status to owners, architects, and others associated with the project.
  • Monitors project progress for compliance with established schedules, budget, and safety and security procedures.
  • Reviews the contract documents and ensures the project is in compliance.
  • Conducts project interviews and ongoing meetings to communicate project status.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Mediates and resolves situations which arise on the project.
  • Coordinates temporary facilities for the project.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction and experience in project management/construction administration or a combination of experience and education.
  • Ability to read and write instructions, correspondence, and blueprints. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variable situations.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of others and to both give and receive instruction.
  • Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and to work collaboratively.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read, analyze and visualize building plans and quotes.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and relevant software.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Most of the work will be performed in a normal office environment with some work performed in the field.

At times the working conditions may be challenging and involve wide variations in weather and physical environment. The employee may be exposed to wet, cold, hot, and noisy conditions. While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to climbing, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Frequent travel to and from project sites with occasional over night stays.
