Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Remote in US

Primary Function:

My client is seeking a skilled engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction administration for multidiscipline water and wastewater projects serving municipal clients across the US. This role involves technical design work and collaboration with a team of engineers, EITs, CADD technicians, and subconsultants to deliver successful project outcomes.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including:

New (greenfield) and upgraded treatment facilities

Process improvements and rehabilitation efforts

Water distribution systems, storage tanks, and transmission pipelines

Wastewater collection systems and pump stations

Other municipal utility infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed designs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and reports for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and storage systems

Perform or manage hydraulic and process design for water and wastewater systems

Coordinate with multiple internal departments and external subconsultants on multidisciplinary projects

Conduct engineering research and apply sound judgment to design solutions

Support or lead project teams on multiple assignments concurrently

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Collect data through research and outreach for use in engineering analyses

Perform engineering calculations to support design decisions

Prepare reports, recommendations, and technical documentation

Maintain accurate project records and document control

Assist in quantity take-offs and development of construction cost estimates

Support Project Managers and Task Leads with additional duties as required

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field) required

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems

Familiarity with applicable state and local regulations is preferred.
