Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Manager or Installation Manager in warehouse automation.
• 6+ years in construction, industrial installation, or material handling.
• Strong background delivering conveyor, AS/RS, AutoStore, robotics, or sortation projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing installation teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day site leadership during installation and construction.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation teams for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specs.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all onsite activities.
• Manage site quality, schedules, subcontractors, and progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering, customers, and suppliers.
• Monitor productivity, identify risks, and resolve issues.
• Support commissioning, testing, punch list, and handover.
• Produce daily site reports and maintain project documentation.

Site Manager - Warehouse Automation (1 Year Contract-to-Hire)

Location: United States (Travel Required)

Employment Type: 1 Year Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $50-$65 per hour

Hours: Approximately 60 hours per week

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading warehouse automation integrator on a 1 year contract to hire. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the construction, installation, and onsite execution of large-scale warehouse automation and material handling projects across the United States. Youll provide day-to-day leadership onsite, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Customers, Contractors, and third-party suppliers, youll act as the primary site representative while coordinating installation teams through every stage of project delivery. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with extensive experience managing conveyor, AS/RS, AutoStore, robotics, sortation, or material handling installations within a systems integration environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day site leadership throughout installation and construction activities
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Ensure projects are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and engineering specifications
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all onsite activities
• Manage site quality, schedules, subcontractors, and installation progress
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Customers, Contractors, and third-party suppliers
• Monitor site productivity, identify project risks, and resolve issues proactively
• Support commissioning, system testing, punch list completion, and final project handover
• Produce daily site reports and maintain project documentation throughout the installation lifecycle
• Build strong working relationships with customers while representing the business professionally onsite

What Were Looking For

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Site Manager or Installation Manager within warehouse automation or automated material handling
• 6+ years experience within construction, industrial installation, or material handling environments
• Strong background delivering conveyor, AS/RS, AutoStore, robotics, or sortation projects
• Proven leadership experience managing installation teams, subcontractors, and site operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality standards, and project execution
• Ability to work extended hours and travel extensively across customer sites
• A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced project environments
