Job summary

Elliott Electric Supply seeks an entry level Project Manager to assist with ship schedules, project orders, and customer service for electrical contractors. You will help stage projects and coordinate with the projects team on fixture and gear orders while beginning to learn estimation of projects.

The role requires basic lighting industry knowledge, ability to read lighting plans (RCP/Electrical), and strong written and verbal communication skills. An Office suite background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 3–5 years working experience in a similar setting.
• Base knowledge of lighting industry (vendors, suppliers, agents, and how to source).
• General Lighting industry experience; experience in quoting account projects; Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat).
• Be able to read lighting plans (RCP and Electrical).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

This will be an entry level project manager position. The job would entail helping with ship schedules, ordering projects and providing excellent customer service to our electrical contractors. This positon would also help with staging of job projects and work with the projects team to provide information to the electrical contractors about their Fixture and gear orders. Would also like to begin teaching this position how to estimate projects as well.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to frequently bend, lift and climb.
