Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple client engagements and end-to-end SaaS implementations, based near Trenton, NJ, with travel to state agencies as needed. You will align delivery standards across Sales, Product, Support, and Engineering, ensuring scope, budget, and timelines are managed for successful outcomes.

The role requires strong organizational, communication and risk-mitigation skills, with fluency in PM tools like MS Project, Accelo and Jira, and experience

Qualifications

• 4+ years SaaS or implementation PM experience.
• Based within an hour's drive of Trenton, NJ, with the ability to travel to state agencies up to twice a week.
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple client engagements.
• Strong organization, communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Accelo, Jira, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Lead end-to-end SaaS implementations.
• Act as primary client contact and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks, handle objections and manage scope, budget timelines, and priorities.
• Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making both internally and externally.
• Maintain detailed project plans and ensure timely delivery while keeping all stakeholders informed of status, risks, tradeoffs.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Ensure quality, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Support PMO standards, reporting, and governance.
• Proactively identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities within Professional Services processes and workflows.
• Lead the design, development, and rollout of improved internal processes, templates, and standards.
• Own and drive cross-departmental initiatives that advance the Professional Services organization's scalability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Engineering to align on delivery standards and improve the customer journey.
