Job summary

Findorff, a Wisconsin builder since 1890, is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from early planning through closeout. You will support the process, relationships, and results while developing leadership and technical expertise.

You will guide day-to-day decisions on building systems, support procurement, plan schedules, manage project financials, and collaborate with teams, clients, and trade partners to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects valued at $20M or more from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to manage project challenges effectively.
• Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and sequencing.
• Experience with project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, and trade partners.

What You’ll Do

• Apply Construction Expertise: Use your understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods to guide safe, informed day-to-day decision making, proactively solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
• Support Procurement: Assist with bidding, contracting, and subcontractor coordination to align project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Plan and Execute Projects: Help develop schedules, lead meetings, and coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.
• Manage Project Financials: Track costs, support forecasting efforts, and assist with change management to help maintain strong financial performance.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to build relationships and contribute to a positive project environment.
