Job summary

Findorff, a Milwaukee-based construction firm, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. You will support procurement, scheduling, and financial performance, while coordinating with clients and trade partners to deliver results.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of PM experience, strong problem solving, and solid knowledge of building systems and construction methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects valued at $20M or more from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to manage project challenges effectively.
• Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, and sequencing.
• Experience with project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager with Findorff, you'll help lead construction projects from early planning through closeout, supporting the process, the relationships, and the results. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects stay on track while continuing to develop your leadership and technical expertise.

• Apply Construction Expertise: Use your understanding of building systems, materials, and construction methods to guide safe, informed day-to-day decision making, proactively solve problems, and keep projects moving forward.
• Support Procurement: Assist with bidding, contracting, and subcontractor coordination to align project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Plan and Execute Projects: Help develop schedules, lead meetings, and coordinate with field teams and subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.
• Manage Project Financials: Track costs, support forecasting efforts, and assist with change management to help maintain strong financial performance.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to build relationships and contribute to a positive project environment.
