Job Summary

• Serve as the lead for specific IT projects, responsible for planning, budgeting, oversight, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, including technical software development staff and customer-oriented integrated product teams.
• Utilize advanced project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe) and tools (Azure DevOps, PPM systems) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and financial objectives are met.
• Oversee business analysis activities, including business process mapping and requirements documentation for healthcare insurance systems (e.g., CMBHS).
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) processes to ensure system deliverables meet client and stakeholder requirements.
• Prepare and present formal business cases and project charters as part of project initiation and planning (preferred).
• Apply creative problem-solving and independent judgment to navigate complex project issues.
• Rely on 8+ years of IT project management experience, with PMP certification required; Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Demonstrate past experience working with Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) systems or similar environments.
