Job summary

Sistema Technologies is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a government IT program based in Austin, TX. This 1-year hybrid role requires onsite presence 3 days per week with two days remote, and local candidates or relocation are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT project management, PMP certification, and strong experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe, and budget management. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and health care IT systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT project management with PMP certification.

• Preparation of formal Business Case and Project Charter (preferred).

Sistema is looking for a Project Manager with our government client based in Austin, TX for a 1 Year position.

***This hybrid position requires some onsite work at our client’s site in Austin, TX. 2 days remote with 3 days (manager’s decision of required days on site) required to be onsite. ***Candidates local to Austin or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply. ***

8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization or Scrum Master a plus.

Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.

Seasoned project manager with direct experiences with Texas HHS.
