Production Resource Group (PRG) is seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years in scenic and automation project management to lead theatrical production initiatives. You will define scopes, budgets, schedules and coordinate with clients, Sales, and Operations to align vision with profitability.
The role requires on-site leadership, strong vendor and budget management, and up to 50% travel, including international assignments.

Seeking candidates with at least 3 years of experience in theatrical technical direction, scenic production management, and/or live event project management specializing in scenic construction. Highly qualified candidates will have experience managing scenic projects and the ability to direct the technical, financial and administrative process.
The Project Manager has responsibility for the planning and execution of events and/or entertainment projects in theatrical production. The work involves considerable client contact with an emphasis on providing project services tailor made to the client’s vision. This employee may make or participate in the sale and may also execute projects generated by another salesperson or group. The work includes the determination of product/gear, construction and service/labor specifications as well as design support of relevant operational plans.
Works with Scenic Sales and Operations to assist the supervision, oversee the fabrication, and manage the administrative and financial performance of each production.
CA, CO, IL, NY, NJ, and NV – The pay range for this position is estimated to be $80,000–100,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, combined with location and market data.
