## Project ManagerApplylocations: Bellevue, Washingtontime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR5610STV currently has opening for a **Project Manager** in the CM/PM group in the **Tacoma, WA area.**STV is looking for a **Project Manager** experience working on public works, corrections/prisons/jails, or courthouses. The selected candidate will take on a role within our division, overseeing Capital Program Management and Owner's Representative tasks. This individual will act on behalf of the owner and associated stakeholder groups, becoming a key member of a high-performing team that leads the execution of projects and programs. The Project Manager will safeguard the owner's interests in overseeing design experts and contractors who are building prominent capital projects. In this capacity, the Project Manager will collaborate with senior management to steer the project team through all stages of the project lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management planning, and close-out services. By joining STV, you will be part of one of the most vibrant and rapidly evolving sectors in the construction industry.**Responsibilities:**Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and construction of facilities related to the justice and correction industries.Responsibilities include assisting the Senior Managers in leading the project team, goal setting, developing policies and procedures to guide the project/program and mentoring team members. The PM shall manage staff, project financials and schedules. In addition, the PM shall carry out duties as assigned to achieve the successful completion of the project/program. * The PM shall lead cross functional projects and initiatives with demanding resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.* Monitor design and construction activities to ensure that all phases of work are done in accordance with contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.* Define and assign project responsibilities to the Assistant Project Manager and Team.* Mentor team members to grow skill sets to foster a high performing project team.* Monitors, evaluates and or develops project financials, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates, as well as reviews purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.* Forecast, identify and addresses areas of potential liabilities and risks.* Develops, monitors, and maintains project schedules. Ensures that project objectives are met.* Maintains client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships. Manages conflict resolution.* Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential concerns and persuades others, which may include executive leadership, to adopt positions to facilitate the successful conclusion of the project.* Assist in the evaluation, development, and selection of standards, protocols, policies and procedures to facilitate project success.* Provides guidance, direction, and instruction to less experienced team members and colleagues.**Required Skills:*** Bachelor’s Degree required, in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.* **Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large scale capital projects. Justice or Jail experience a plus.*** Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and a track record in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
