Pacific International has been retained by a rapidly growing manufacturing organization with a niche hold in the consumer goods space. Driven by innovation and continuous improvement, they are currently expanding their engineering organization significantly.

Currently, they are looking to bring in an Engineering Project Leader to a key manufacturing facility, In this role, you'll be heavily focused on identifying and driving continuous improvement activities in addition to managing capital projects within the site. The ideal candidate profile is an agile, continuous improvement minded project leader who can work cross functionally across the site.

Essential Functions:

• Execute on the capital plan for the site through management of multiple, often concurrent, projects utilizing the stage-gate process.
• Responsible for achieving the project financial targets in support of business objectives. Maintains project controls and reporting for cost, scope, and schedule.
• Develop execution strategy including vendor selection, procurement, installation, start-up and project closeout.
• Lead engineering efforts in support of the root cause identification of nonconformances. Take ownership of implementing corrective and preventive action.
• Provide on-site manufacturing support, engaging well with operators and management to implement permanent countermeasures.
• Successfully lead process improvement efforts to positively impact standard metrics including yield, productivity and other sound performance metrics.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering from a four-year ABET accredited college or university.
• Proven track record in process engineering for between 3 to 5 years.
