Job summary

D-McP Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and public works projects in Spokane Valley, WA from pre-construction through closeout. You will lead project planning, cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to work closely with ownership, field crews, subcontractors, and inspectors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from contract award through final closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and self-performed work.
• Review and manage subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Monitor job costs, production rates, and project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and agency communication.
• Oversee project documentation including certified payrolls and closeout packages.
• Communicate regularly with ownership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities.

About the Role
