Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in the Greater Spokane, WA area.

You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects organized and on schedule. The role offers full-time employment with growth opportunities in a growing contractor that delivers high-quality commercial construction projects throughout the Inland

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or related support roles.
  • Experience with commercial general contractors preferred.
  • Understanding of construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
  • Strong organization and time management with ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers and field teams.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Track project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and follow up on actions.
  • Assist with project startup, permitting, and document control.
  • Maintain accurate project files in the PM software.
  • Process invoices, lien releases, insurance certificates, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate communication among clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Support procurement by tracking material orders and deliveries.
  • Assist with closeout documentation, warranties, as-built drawings, turnover packages.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and project documentation requirements.

A well-established commercial general contractor in the Spokane area is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects stay organized, compliant, and on schedule.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project administration, or a similar support role within commercial construction.

  • Experience working for a commercial general contractor strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of construction documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project closeout processes.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with project management platforms such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud (Build), CMiC, Viewpoint Vista, or similar software is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Preferred Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • Experience supporting multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with public and private commercial construction projects.
