Role Description

The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Spartanburg, SC. This position is responsible for overseeing construction projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of field activities. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines, monitoring costs, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will prepare and review project documentation, address issues and risks, and lead regular progress meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role also involves supporting continuous improvement efforts and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• Project planning and coordination skills, including experience managing schedules, budgets, and resources for construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction processes, building methods, and materials, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency with project management and construction-related software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, scheduling tools; familiarity with estimating software is a plus).
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in commercial or industrial construction project management; prior experience with national or multi-site projects is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
• Capability to work on-site in Spartanburg, SC, with occasional travel to job sites or client locations as needed.
