Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to lead inventory management, replenishment, distribution operations, and customer inventory programs. This role bridges business and technology, driving improvements and ensuring successful program execution.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of supply chain project experience, strong PM skills, and ERP/WMS/TMS familiarity, with a track record of cross-functional leadership and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading projects, programs, or operational initiatives within Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Distribution, Logistics, Merchandising, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), or Operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting inventory replenishment, demand planning, distribution operations, inventory stocking strategies, or customer inventory programs.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, including forecasting, replenishment, inventory availability, min/max settings, assortment planning, and stock transfers.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience analyzing operational challenges, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including governance, executive reporting, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
  • Experience working with ERP, inventory management, warehouse management, transportation, or supply chain planning systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear business and technical action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs and operational initiatives related to inventory management, replenishment, distribution, logistics, merchandising, and supply chain operations.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify operational challenges, perform root-cause analysis, evaluate business impacts, and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate discussions surrounding inventory availability, stock levels, replenishment strategies, forecasting, assortment decisions, inventory transfers, and customer inventory management.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans and coordinate execution across business, technology, and operational teams.
  • Develop and maintain project governance, executive reporting, risk and issue management (RAID), dependency tracking, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Merchandising, Inventory Solutions, Distribution Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support strategic objectives.
  • Support operational transformation, inventory stabilization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and inventory performance.
  • Collaborate with technology teams leveraging ERP, warehouse management, transportation management, inventory management, and supply chain planning systems.

Key Responsibilities
