Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for directing in-house crews and subcontractors. You will work directly with customers and be involved in bidding and billing projects. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and are up for the challenge.

In addition, you will:

  • Maintain strong and open relationships with owners, clients, government agencies, and trade associations.
  • Ensure constant communication between estimators, engineers, project superintendents, and administrative staff.
  • Attend project meetings with the owner.
  • Ensure a correct budget is established for each job.
  • Ensure timely approval of invoices and expenses associated with projects, either by direct performance or delegated authority.
  • Maintain accurate project forecasts and thoroughly document the cost to complete each month for all projects.
  • Manage all monthly billings promptly and accurately.
  • Review monthly billing with subcontractors and ensure all compliance documentation is on file.
  • Utilize approved collection practices to ensure timely payment collection.
  • Gather supporting documentation for change orders, change of conditions, and ROI's, and document work progress to ensure proper compensation.
  • Oversee purchasing of materials and subcontracted work efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Coordinate with operations management to provide field teams with necessary information, equipment, and resources.
  • Ensure project compliance with storm water management, OSHA, and other regulations, maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Complete all project closeout paperwork promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Possess map analysis, tower analysis, and basic CAD knowledge.
  • Remote Opportunity - Must reside in Pacific or Central Time Zones.

    Compensation: $70-$85k/year, depending on experience.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • At least 3 years of construction project experience.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Intermediate schedule management experience.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Precise hand-eye coordination.
    • Good vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less, with ability to judge distances and colors.
    • Ability to read blueprints accurately.
    • Effective communication of progress, issues, and recommendations to leadership.
    • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety training.
