Job summary

RimePro Inc. is seeking an HVAC Lead Installer to join our energetic team. You will install and replace HVAC equipment, manage ductwork, and mentor apprentices while delivering high-quality work in compliance with local and national codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC experience with refrigeration components (air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, ducts).
• Excellent customer service skills and drive to exceed expectations.
• Comfort with inspecting, diagnosing, and replacing HVAC components.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace HVAC equipment including ductwork and various system types.
• Maintain and organize stock, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites within the service area and coordinate with dispatch.
• Design duct systems for efficiency and comfort.
• Consult with homeowners and identify add-on opportunities or replacements.
• Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers during jobs.

What Will I Do?

As an HVAC Lead Installer, you will:

• Install and replace HVAC equipment, including ductwork, attic/vertical splits (gas or heat pump), rooftop package units, and more
• Keep your company vehicle in good working order
• Ensure proper stock, tools, parts, and safety equipment are maintained in your vehicle
• Travel to job sites within the service area, coordinating with dispatch to maintain your schedule and communicate any delays to customers
• Design duct systems for maximum comfort and efficiency
• Communicate with homeowners to identify any concerns, needs, or opportunities for add-on sales or system replacements
• Generate customer invoices and process payments using the companys pricing program
• Take part in company‑provided training on the latest industry technologies and customer service best practices
• Mentor and coach apprentices and entry‑level installers, helping them grow their skills

Do I Have What It Takes?

• 3+ years of experience with refrigeration, HVAC components (Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Furnaces, Air Handlers, Duct Work, Thermostats, etc.), and the ability to diagnose and perform replacements
• EPA Certification
• Excellent customer service skills with a drive to exceed expectations
• Basic tools: Wrenches, screwdrivers, sheet metal/duct tools, hammer
• Familiarity with testing equipment: Refrigerant gauges, manometer, Magnahelic, C/O detector, psychrometer, micron gauge
• Strong understanding of city codes
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs the right way, the first time
• Comfort with crawling into tight spaces, climbing ladders, and working in attics, crawl spaces, and on rooftops
• After receiving a conditional offer of employment, you will undergo a background check, drug test, MVR, and reference check
