Job summary

Tree Builders Group Construction is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead high-end residential remodeling projects across the Bay Area. The role focuses on owning the field—managing subcontractors, coordinating timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

The PM will oversee all on-site construction, lead subcontractors, create schedules, and serve as the main client contact, with regular site visits to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a project manager in construction, remodeling preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing.
• Proven ability to lead and manage subcontractors.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Highly organized with multi-job management.
• Proficient with scheduling tools (Google Calendar, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend).
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

We’re looking for someone who can own the field—manage subcontractors, coordinate timelines, communicate with clients, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of on-site construction projects from start to finish
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure timely and quality execution
• Create, update, and maintain project schedules
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and perform quality control
• Coordinate with internal departments (design, accounting, dispatch)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager in construction (remodeling experience preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Proven ability to lead and manage subcontractors
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple jobs at once
• Proficient with scheduling tools (Google Calendar, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site visits
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (in-office + on-site visits)

Sunday: Available as needed based on project urgency

Flexible hours depending on project load and deadlines

Compensation:

$7,500 – $9,000 per month (based on experience)

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Paid time off included

Work Location: Primarily in person
