Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Project Manager to support our San Diego office. You will provide direct client interface, spearhead plan processing at public agencies, and contribute to marketing and business development.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of civil engineering design experience and PE certification; you're a mentor who can guide workflows from entitlements through construction support. Hybrid work available.

What You’ll Do as a Project Manager:

• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
• Participate in marketing, business development, lead finding, and pursuit of new work.
• Completion of administrative and finance responsibilities including invoicing, monitoring, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals, and attending required meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
• PE certification required
