Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Manager to support our Irvine office and drive land development projects from entitlements through construction.

You will lead client interfaces, coordinate plan processing at public agencies, and contribute to marketing and business development while managing invoices, proposals, and timecards. PE certification and a strong civil engineering background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from a four-year college/university.
• Civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years as central design figure and mentor for projects.

What You’ll Do as a Project Manager:

• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.
• Participate in marketing, business development, lead finding, and pursuit of new work.
• Completion of administrative and finance responsibilities including invoicing, monitoring, proposals, change orders, timecard approvals, and attending required meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four‑year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision‑making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
• PE certification required.
