Job summary

Novax Recruitment Group partners with a respected steel fabricator in Salisbury, NC to add an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager. You’ll own 10-12 active projects, working closely with clients, detailers, fabrication teams, and field operations to ensure delivery is safe, on time, and on budget.

This role emphasizes autonomy and strong support within a company with nearly 100 years of industry success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within structural steel.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in AISC-certified fabrication environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award through completion.
• Build strong relationships with clients and act as their primary point of contact.
• Coordinate detailing, fabrication, and erection teams to keep projects progressing smoothly.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Use Tekla, Bluebeam, and Viewpoint to manage project delivery.
• Identify potential issues early and keep projects moving forward.

You’ll take ownership of approximately 10-12 active projects, working closely with clients, detailers, fabrication teams, and field operations to ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, and on budget.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from contract award through completion.

What You’ll Need
