ACS Professional Staffing seeks a Project Manager in Sacramento, CA to lead multi-sector design projects from planning through approvals. Responsibilities include RFP responses, client interviews, and building strong client relationships across the lifecycle.

Hybrid, full-time opportunity with a strong local network preferred. Ideal candidate has 10–20 years of architectural experience, architectural license preferred, and proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, Revit, and BIM workflows.

Location: Sacramento, California Type: Direct Hire Job #8802 Salary: $93,000 Overview: Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary design firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects across the Advanced Technology, Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, and Commercial/Workplace sectors, guiding work from conceptual planning through design, coordination, and final approvals. Responsibilities include preparing and responding to RFPs, participating in client interviews, and building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires someone with established connections within the local design, construction, and development community, or the ability to quickly integrate into it, and offers the opportunity to play a key role in growing the firm's regional presence. This full-time, hybrid position is located in Sacramento, CA. Pay range: $93,000 - $131,000 DOE

Benefits:

• Paid Time Off: 18 days PTO per year (up to 25.5 days); accrual starts first week.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate assembly of proposals including coordination with consultants.
• Prepare and review client and consultant contracts.
• Lead pursuit efforts at the project level - RFP responses, scope and fee estimates, interviews.
• Manage and review billing for projects and review invoices to clients and consultants.
• Forecast billings for revenue projections per project.
• Provide regular communication and coordination with project team, discipline leads, and project Principal.
• Develop and manage project design schedules and scope of service.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate design processes and facilitate meetings.

Requirements:

• 10 to 20 years of architectural experience; specific or various project types.
• Architectural license is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering quality design for our clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam required.
• Experience working in and managing Revit and BIM workflows, InDesign and Deltek Vantagepoint are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects through design development, construction documents, and contract administration phases.
• Experience with advanced tech, fast-track, or engineering-led projects is a plus.
• Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
