Job summary

Volt is hiring a Remote Project Manager II/III, Product Delivery to coordinate and track program activities at the product delivery level. You will enable planning, execution, and governance across multiple initiatives, working with Product Management and delivery leaders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience, Scrum Master certification, and familiarity with Agile software development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates PSI Planning and release planning events.

Volt is immediately hiring for a Remote Project Manager II/III, Product Delivery.

As a Product Manager, you will:

Release Train Engineers (often called Agile Project or Program Managers) typically fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Facilitates Product Delivery Planning days known as PSI Planning
• Facilitates release planning events and release readiness process
• Assists with program execution and PSI feature completion tracking
• Facilitates Scrum of Scrums
• Facilitates the bi-weekly sprint reviews and team demo sessions
• Assists with decision-making by facilitating estimation by teams and rollup to Program level visibility
• Remove impediments, when possible, elevate when necessary
• Encourages team collaboration
• Works with Product Management, Product Owners, and Product Delivery leaders to help assure strategy and execution alignment
• Helps manage risk
• Reports status to Release Management Team
• Provides input on moving team members to address critical bottlenecks
• Drives program-level continuous improvement via Retrospectives and Inspect & Adapt workshops
• Encourages team and program level Agile engineering practices and Communities of Practice around Scrum, and Agile program management
• Will be the project manager on 1 or more Product Delivery initiatives

As Program Manager, responsible for coordinating and tracking program activities related to process, scheduling, planning, etc. Will provide program level summary to CSG PD PMO and Governance Steering Committee

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 to 5 years' experience managing projects
• Scrum Master certification
• College degree or project management certification, PMP not required
• Familiar with Agile software development
• Expert in use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Pay Rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
