Job summary

The ESFM USA division of Compass Group USA is seeking a Project Manager in Richmond, VA to plan, direct, and coordinate designated projects on-site within time and budget constraints. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2+ years PM experience in regulated environments, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

You will collaborate across engineering and operations to advance facility projects and maintain proper documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting project management activities, preferably in a regulated environment (pharma, manufacturing, or logistics).
  • Basic understanding of preventative maintenance programs and operational workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (required) or other CAD software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and tracking of corporate and site projects to ensure timelines and objectives are met.
  • Assist in defining project scope, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project leadership.
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, and communications across cross-functional teams.
  • Track project progress, identify risks or issues, and elevate as needed.
  • Support change management processes and maintain project documentation.
  • Assist in aligning projects with preventative maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support facility updates and equipment improvements.
  • Review and help maintain AutoCAD and other CAD drawings for project planning, layouts, and modifications.
  • Ensure adherence to cGMPs and compliance with DOT, FAA, OSHA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitor team progress and support process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Position Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

Pay Grade: 14

Job Summary
