Prevail Recruiting represents a standout Arizona general contractor hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager for Phoenix local projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will own budgets and schedules on $5M–$100M projects, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, and mentor Project Engineers while enjoying an employee-owned culture, no long travel, and strong career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a Commercial General Contractor.
• Experience leading projects as the lead PM.
• Strong financial, scheduling, subcontractor, and client-management skills.
• Procore, Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
• Background in industrial, retail, hospitality, infrastructure, or TI construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial projects ranging from approximately $5M–$100M.
• Own project budget, schedule, contracts, buyout, change orders, and financial performance.
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Identify project risks and solve problems before they impact schedule or budget.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Partner closely with field leadership throughout construction.
• Oversee project documentation, closeout, punch list, and turnover.
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and other team members.

The Role

You'll take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through final closeout, working closely with Superintendents, Preconstruction, ownership, design teams, and trade partners.

• Lead commercial projects ranging from approximately $5M–$100M
• Own project budget, schedule, contracts, buyout, change orders, and financial performance
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Identify project risks and solve problems before they impact schedule or budget
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
• Partner closely with field leadership throughout construction
• Oversee project documentation, closeout, punch list, and turnover
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and other team members

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Project Management experience with a Commercial General Contractor
• Experience managing projects as the lead/full-charge PM
• Strong financial, scheduling, subcontractor, and client-management skills
• Procore, Microsoft Project, and related construction technology experience a plus
• Background in industrial, retail, hospitality, infrastructure, fuel/gas, ground-up, or TI construction is especially relevant
• $125,000–$150,000 base salary depending on experience
• 10–15% annual performance bonus
