Location and Travel:
This is a remote position; however, preference will be given to candidates located in Austin, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Atlanta, GA, Reno, NV, Grand Rapids, MI, or Las Vegas, NV.
This position may require travel to all of the above listed locations.

Job Description:
Meade Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes across various engineering and construction projects. This role is responsible for project execution, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining client satisfaction. While MEP-specific experience is preferred, it is not required-we're looking for a strong project leader with proven experience in managing complex, cross-disciplinary projects and working with technical teams.
Job Duties:
Manage and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction projects with MEP components.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to meet objectives.
Review and coordinate design documentation to ensure compliance with project and industry requirements.
Monitor project performance, address risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Lead client and internal meetings to drive decisions and progress.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards.
Support procurement activities, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
Maintain detailed project records and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
At least 5 years of experience in project management within engineering, construction, or related technical environments
Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, Teamwork, or similar platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with MEP systems is preferred but not required
