Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages project timelines and communication.
  • Accountable for completion of assigned projects to meet timelines.
  • Identify and manage risks within projects.
  • Manage customer-driven or internal scope changes.
  • Escalate to stakeholders clearly.
  • Lead regular project updates with customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources for deliverables.
  • Oversee open sales order activity for NPD deliverables.
  • Participate in development and approval of manufacturing and quality docs.
  • Participate in on/off site technical discussions/DFM reviews.
  • Provide technical support to estimating/sales for quoting.
  • Participate in tooling design review activities.
  • Contribute to data analysis with Quality Engineering.
  • Provide engineering consulting on existing production programs.
  • Create, track, and report KPI’s.
  • Lead continuous improvement to meet KPI goals.
  • Manage projects across Trelleborg Medical Solutions sites.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Develops and manages project timelines and associated communication
  • Accountable and responsible for management and successful completion of assigned projects to meet agreed timeline
  • Identify and manage risks within projects
  • Transparent identification and management of customer-driven or internal scope changes
  • Clear and confident project escalation to stakeholders & leadership
  • Facilitates/leads regular project updates/conference calls with customer
  • Manages internal cross-functional resources ensuring completion of assigned deliverables
  • Manages open sales order activity/dates for assigned NPD deliverables
  • Participates in cross functional development and review/approval of manufacturing and quality documentation
  • Participates in on/off site technical discussions/DFM reviews with customer
  • Provides technical support to estimating/sales for quoting new programs
  • Participates in tooling design review activities
  • Contributes to data analysis and collaboration with Quality Engineering

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years equivalent experience
  • 5 years minimum experience working in a polymer processing or medical manufacturing environment in a technical or leadership role

Desired:

  • 5 years minimum experience working in a polymer processing or medical manufacturing environment in a technical or leadership role and performing the essential job functions listed above
  • Post-secondary education, apprenticeship, or certificate training in polymer related or project management discipline

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectively
