Job summary

Randstad USA in Parsippany, NJ, seeks a Project Manager, Program Management for SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation. You will coordinate a portfolio of strategic initiatives across Business Owners, SAP/IT teams, and external partners, focusing on end-to-end Supply Chain capabilities within the Transformation Management Office.

This 21-month hybrid role requires governance, readiness planning, and executive-facing reporting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive project and program management experience.
• 3–5 years of direct experience supporting enterprise SAP ERP transformations (ECC or SAP S/4HANA).
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across business leaders, IT teams, and System Integrators.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes (Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Order-to-Cash, Logistics, Inventory).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, mitigate readiness risks, and govern large-scale transformations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain transformation portfolio plan with sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and risks across Supply Chain and cross-process areas.
• Support intake, prioritization, and scope governance aligned with transformation strategy.
• Ensure initiatives comply with governance, stage gates, and decision frameworks.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and materials for Steering Committees.
• Collaborate with Business Owners, EPOs, Deployment, Change, and Training leads on readiness plans and resource commitments.
• Coordinate with SAP, Data, and IT teams to align priorities with delivery plans and release sequencing.
• Manage relationships with System Integrators and external vendors to align with portfolio priorities and governance.
• Support business readiness activities across design, testing and training phases; identify and address readiness risks.
• Maintain portfolio-level view of risks, issues, dependencies and tracking of benefits/KPIs.

Pay Rate: 90.00 per hour

The Project Manager, Program Management - SAP S/4HANA Business Transformation, supports a multi-year, enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation by coordinating a portfolio of strategic initiatives across Business Owners, SAP/IT teams, and third-party partners. Focusing specifically on end-to-end Supply Chain capabilities, this role operates within the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to ensure initiatives align with business priorities, adhere to consistent governance standards, integrate seamlessly across workstreams, and drive strong business readiness and adoption planning.

Acting as a key connector between strategy and execution, this position delivers portfolio-level visibility, dependency management, and readiness coordination without owning wave-level deployment delivery.

• Maintain the transformation portfolio plan spanning business readiness projects and SAP activities, with specific focus on initiative sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and key risks across Supply Chain and cross-process areas.
• Support intake, prioritization, and scope governance aligned with the overarching transformation strategy and key value drivers.
• Ensure all initiatives comply with established governance, stage gates, and decision frameworks.
• Prepare executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for Steering Committees and portfolio reviews.
• Business Owner & Process Owner Engagement:
• Partner with Business Owners and Enterprise Process Owners (EPOs) to define objectives, scope, success metrics, and decision ownership across Supply Chain business processes.
• Collaborate with EPOs, Deployment, Change, and Training leads to build business participation plans, track resource commitments, and proactively address capacity or engagement risks.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment when business priorities or workstream dependencies conflict.
• SAP / IT Coordination:
• Work closely with SAP, Data, and IT teams to align business priorities with technical delivery plans and release sequencing.
• Maintain clear portfolio visibility into SAP delivery progress, technical risks, and system dependencies affecting business readiness.
• Ensure end-to-end integration across process, data, reporting, and technology considerations at the portfolio level.
• Third-Party / System Integrator Coordination:
• Coordinate with System Integrators (SIs) and external partners to ensure alignment with Supply Chain portfolio priorities and program governance standards.
• Monitor high-level partner deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
• Support issue escalations and reinforce expectations for documentation quality, milestone delivery, and knowledge transfer.
• Business Readiness & Adoption Support:
• Coordinate enterprise-level business readiness activities, including readiness baselining, planning, milestone tracking, and business participation across design, testing, and training phases.
• Partner with Data, Change Management, Training, and Communications leads to synchronize readiness efforts across all active initiatives.
• Identify, track, and elevate business readiness risks related to project timing, resource capacity, or user adoption.
• Risk, Dependency & Value Tracking:
• Maintain a comprehensive, portfolio-level view of risks, issues, and cross-initiative dependencies.
• Support the tracking of business benefits, target KPIs, and value realization.
• Shift portfolio reporting focus from simple task completion to true business capability enablement and outcome visibility.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall Experience: 8+ years of progressive project and program management experience.
• SAP Expertise: 3 to 5 years of direct experience supporting enterprise SAP ERP transformations (ECC or SAP S/4HANA), with specific experience supporting Supply Chain business processes in an SAP environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of working effectively across business leaders, technical IT teams, and third-party System Integrators.
• Process Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of end-to-end business processes within Supply Chain (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, Order-to-Cash, Logistics, and Inventory Management).
• Dependency & Risk Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional project dependencies, mitigate readiness risks, and maintain governance across large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
