Job summary

Aperia is seeking a Project Manager to plan, track, and manage enterprise projects in the payments space. The role focuses on Agile delivery, coordinating with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to keep initiatives on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years’ PM experience in Agile environments, with SDLC knowledge and strong communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Omaha, NE, with multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in project management in an Agile environment.
• Experience delivering technical software solutions across SDLC models.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Project management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate project planning, stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews.
• Coordinate with Scrum Master, Client Engagement Manger, and Product Owner for alignment on plan and roadmap.
• Evaluate sprint/release progress relative to the project plan.
• Ensure development teams follow Agile principles like collaboration and transparency.
• Lead projects to initiate, plan, execute, control, and close to meet success criteria.
• Produce project plans, estimates, and deliverables in line with SDLC.
• Monitor status, milestones, and issues; report to stakeholders.
• Interface with analysts, technical staff, and management to resolve conflicts.

Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, tracking, and managing enterprise projects for a key client is the payments space.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate project planning, host and attend daily stand-up meetings, participate in sprint reviews, lead and play an active role in lessons-learned and retrospectives, active participation and evaluation of sprint and release planning towards delivery of a cohesive project schedule, participate in demos and other Scrum-related meetings
• Conduct routine planning sessions with the Scrum Master, Client Engagement Manger, and Product Owner for alignment on project plan and roadmap
• Evaluate sprint/release progress as relative to the project plan
• Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility
• Leads Projects assigned with ability to properly initiate, plan, execute, control and close work to meet outlined success criteria.
• Produces Project Plans, Estimates, and Deliverables consistent with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Monitor and report on Project Status, Project Milestones and Issues
• Prepare estimates of Effort (EOE) and evaluate Estimates to Complete (ETC)
• Interfaces with internal Business Analysts, Technical Personnel, and Management to assess and determine resource requirements and resolve conflicts
• Defines standards for Project Management documentation, measurements, and reporting
• Supports project team with project deliverables as necessary
• Interfaces with Aperia Solutions clients as necessary regarding project status and issues

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in project management in an Agile environment
• AI project experience
• Experience in delivery of technical software solutions using SDLC methodologies that support Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models
• Familiarity with Project Management concepts, deliverables, and techniques
• Demonstrated experience in producing project tracking documentation
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Process orientation with emphasis on measurement and feedback
• Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Demonstrated leadership in motivating teams to high performance
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical level
• Strong work ethic, commitment and teamwork
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Able to work flexible hours, especially during critical project schedules
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• BA or BS Degree preferred
