Aperia Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic team focused on SaaS in the Payments and Compliance sectors. You will translate business needs into user stories, collaborate with Delivery Lead, Product Owner, and cross‑functional teams, and ensure data quality through testing and sign‑off.

The role requires strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and a solid foundation in SDLC and Agile practices. Preferred knowledge includes Java, Angular, and Axure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer or engineering discipline.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to extract details from high‑level requests, and to document them clearly.
• Working knowledge of SQL; strong Excel/Access data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine business needs into actionable user stories.
• Act as liaison between Client, Development, and Data Warehouse teams.
• Identify data, perform analysis, and manage unit testing and sign-off.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure smooth development flow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• We are looking for a person to join our team in a critical role of the Technical Business Analyst.
• You will work with our internal client defining and refining the business needs into actionable user stories and tasks.
• Working directly for the Delivery Lead / Product Owner, you will serve a liaison between Client team, Development team and Data Warehouse team.
• You will be instrumental in data identification, data analysis, unit testing and managing user testing & sign off.
• We are looking for someone with attention to detail, a sense of ownership, good interpersonal skills and excellent documentation skills.
• Your work will increase efficiency in the development process and reduce exceptions, bugs and test failures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering discipline.
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong ability to transform / extract required details from higher level business requests.
• Working knowledge of query language such as SQL.
• High level of comfort in Excel / Access manipulating data.
• A solid understanding of testing and test case development.

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Knowledge of JAVA, Angular.
• Knowledge of prototyping applications such as Axure.
