Job summary

Kubik, a leader in experiential events and tradeshow exhibits, seeks a Project Manager who can guide multiple custom fabrication projects from concept to installation.

You will own schedules, budgets, and cross-functional coordination with Sales and Client Services to deliver on time and on budget, while finding solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Extensive project management experience in tradeshow or experiential environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Client Services, and production teams.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail in fast-paced settings.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project costs, estimates, and work orders.
  • Establish schedules and critical paths for projects.
  • Manage project changes and budget adherence.
  • Ensure production meets deadlines and client requirements.
  • Provide solutions to project issues and resource planning.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Client Services to align on client needs.
  • Deliver outstanding service to clients.

A Project Management professional with demonstrated ability to manage a variety of custom fabrication projects simultaneously, delivering on time and on budget. A great troubleshooter adept at finding solutions and solving problems. You thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment.

Our Project Managers are an integral part of the team that transforms ideas into experiences. They own multiple projects from concept through production and installation in partnership with a great team. They have a willingness to do whatever needs to be done to get it right.

A typical day:

  • Preparing project costs, estimates, bill of materials and work orders.
  • Establishing schedules and critical path or project plan.
  • Managing project changes.
  • Ensuring production complies with project deadlines and budget.
  • Providing solutions to issues.
  • Identifying appropriate resources needed.
  • Working in partnership with Sales and Client Services to ensure that the project needs and requirements of the client are determined and executed.
  • Delivering great service to our clients.

Who we are looking for:

  • Industry experience in trade show or special event displays.
  • Technical knowledge of fabrication, millwork and interior building materials.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with all internal departments.
  • Resourceful and solution focused.
  • Meticulously organized.
  • Computer savvy. Fluent in spreadsheets and everything Microsoft Office.
  • Values working as part of a team and working collaboratively.
