Cloud and Things seeks a Project Manager to support our NYS client, overseeing IT policies, controls, and audit processes. The role involves evaluating controls, developing documentation, and crafting IT communications for staff and clients.

You will collaborate with executives to issue policies and drive risk mitigation, with a focus on Lean and continuous improvement in a government-facing context.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Process Modeling and management using Microsoft Visio.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or higher.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project 2010 or higher.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and with outside agencies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, independently set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting key process requirements, and ability to produce sample work upon client request.
  • General knowledge of public mass transit assets and operations.
  • Expert knowledge of lean methods, waste elimination, 5S, total productive maintenance, flow, and error proofing.
  • Ability to perform root-cause analysis and value stream mapping.
  • Experience leading Kaizen or continuous improvement events and/or improvement teams and implementing lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Strong project management, coordination, multitasking, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare concise and insightful reports in a timely manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Visio, and Access, with proficiency in MS Visio for process mapping.

Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager who will support our NYS client by overseeing the development, implementation, and enforcement of IT policies, procedures, internal controls, and audit-related processes. Duties

Desirable Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certification from an accredited institution or training company is preferred.
