Job summary

McCann Systems is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our nationwide team. The role centers on delivering AV integration projects from turnover through closeout with strong emphasis on schedules, budgets, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading kickoff and status meetings, coordinating procurement and logistics, managing change orders, and maintaining accurate financial reporting while upholding safety and quality standards on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PM experience in AV integration, experiential tech, or related fields.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, change orders, and closeout.
• Ability to read contracts, AV drawings, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and field directives.
• Proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, Bluebeam and related PM tools.
• Willingness to travel to active project sites.

McCann Systems is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our nationwide team.

• Lead multiple projects from turnover through completion, acceptance, and closeout; establish execution plans, schedules, deliverables, and communication pathways.
• Serve as the primary operational client contact; lead kickoff and status meetings, manage expectations, communicate decisions, and resolve concerns proactively.
• Identify project risks, constraints, dependencies, and required decisions; develop mitigation or recovery plans and elevate critical issues with clear recommendations.
• Own project budgets, forecasts, cost‑to‑complete, labor utilization, cash flow, and profitability; maintain accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify scope changes and commercial impacts; prepare pricing and supporting documentation, secure approval, maintain a change log, and manage authorized work.
• Review vendor and subcontractor commitments, invoices, and project expenditures within assigned authorization levels.

Schedule, Procurement & Logistics

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with contract milestones, design releases, procurement, installation, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate schedules with owners, general contractors, consultants, trade partners, and internal resources; implement recovery plans when performance deviates.
• Plan equipment releases, long‑lead procurement, vendor deliveries, warehousing, staging, shipping, and site logistics to support required milestones.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, shop drawings, submittals, technical reviews, design changes, and value‑engineering opportunities against spec, scope and budget.
• Partner with Site Superintendents and field leadership on staffing, access, sequencing, site logistics, installation readiness, progress, productivity, and issue resolution.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, field conditions, and project documentation to identify conflicts and maintain alignment with design intent.

Quality, Commissioning, Safety & Closeout

• Ensure compliance with company quality and installation standards; coordinate testing, programming, commissioning, demonstrations, punch list completion, and client acceptance.
• Promote safe execution and coordinate company, client, general contractor, subcontractor, and site‑specific safety requirements.
• Drive complete turnover packages, as‑built documentation, O&M materials, warranties, training records, lessons learned, and administrative closeout.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Required

• 5+ years of project management experience in AV integration, experiential technology, low‑voltage systems, specialty contracting, or commercial construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors, vendors, change orders, client relationships, and closeout.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, AV drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and field directives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project/ Gannt style scheduling and project‑management platforms, SharePoint, and Bluebeam, ability to travel to active project sites.
• Working knowledge of integrated AV systems, control systems, digital signage, videoconferencing, structured cabling, AV‑over‑IP, networking, and commissioning workflows.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Technology Management, or related field; equivalent industry experience considered.
• CTS, PMP, or comparable AV, technology, or project‑management credential; experience in corporate, museum, retail, hospitality, entertainment, or branded environments.

Pay range is $105,000-$135,000 per year based on experience. McCann Systems offers a comprehensive benefits package, including family health benefits, matching retirement contributions, paid time off, and more.
