Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Project Manager to oversee specialty transportation and rigging projects in NYC and the tri-state area. You will manage projects from site survey through completion, coordinating crews, equipment, permits, and schedules while maintaining client relations.

The role combines project management, logistics, estimating, and business development, with opportunities to grow existing and new client relationships and drive project success on active job sites.

A growing specialty transportation and rigging company serving NYC and the tri-state area is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from site survey through completion. This hands-on role combines project management, logistics, client relations, estimating, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through execution and closeout.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys, develop project plans, and prepare estimates and proposals.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, permits, and schedules.
• Oversee deliveries, rigging, installations, and construction support services.
• Identify opportunities to grow business with existing and new clients.
• Work closely with NYC regulatory agencies and construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, construction, rigging, crane operations, machinery moving, transportation, or related industries.
• Comfortable working on active job sites throughout NYC and the tri-state area.
• Strong client-facing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess site conditions and develop practical solutions.
• Familiarity with NYC permitting, construction logistics, and union environments is a plus.
• Master Rigger, Special Rigger, NYC Crane Operator, or NCCCO certifications are preferred but not required.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
