Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture is hiring a Project Manager to join the Manhattan Jail Project in New York, NY. The role reports to the Senior Project Manager and requires oversight of schedules, subcontractor onboarding, and owner reporting for a $3.8B facility."

The successful candidate will manage complex construction activities, review design and scope, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on this landmark project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years of building construction experience.
• PM experience on multiple projects; ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Experience on projects valued at $100M+ for general contractor desired.

Responsibilities

• Review project schedule for compliance and subcontractor onboarding.
• Issue and manage subcontractor commitments including insurance and startup approvals.
• Report monthly progress to owner and manage cost coding.
• Draft letters/notices for PM review and coordinate with day‑to‑day demands.
• Develop and manage contract provisions with subcontractors; track changes and PCOs.

Tutor Perini O&G JV is seeking a Project Manager to join the project in Manhattan, NY.About Manhattan Jail ProjectExtraordinary Projects, Exceptional PerformanceThe $3.8B project scope includes design and construction of a new state-of-the-art facility that will have dedicated space for on-site services and programming, indoor and outdoor recreation, food services, staff offices and facilities, amenities, below-grade accessory parking, and a secured entry.The new facility will contain 1,040 beds and provide 125 accessory parking spaces below grade for all staff and service providers. In addition, the facility will provide 20,000 square feet of community and commercial space on the ground floor.Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional TalentDESCRIPTION:As a Project Manager at Tutor Perini O&G Joint Venture., reporting to Sr. Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:Reviewing project schedule for compliance for subcontractor onboarding processCreating and issuing subcontractor commitments including all required insurance start up and owner approval processReporting and issuance of owner monthly progress reportAccurate Quantities documented on timecards and compliance with project cost coding structureManagement of all T&M process via owner or subcontractor requirementsInput, Monitoring, and Implementation of the JDE Quantity BookLDR & Cost Report AccuracyResponsible for drafting letters / notices for Senior Project Manager review in coordination with project day to day demandsReview all owner notices and properly documents and asses impacts for review with the project teamDevelopment and management of all contract provisions with subcontractors’ terms and condition languageMaintain PCO Tracking and execution of all project change requests from inception to final executionAssists Senior Project Manager on all project compliance requirementsProject Compliance CoordinatorJobsite contact point for onboarding, development for subcontractor payment process and accounting reporting accuracyJobsite lead for all JDE entries, contact list or issue resolutionManaging all project schedule duties and responsibilities.
