Job description

Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has a great long-term role as a Project Manager. This role is remote.

Albany, NY is where the client is located, so preference is for EST and CST candidates – Remote

Job Description

Multifamily is in need of a Project Manager to maintain a pipeline of applications, coordinate kick-off calls, and set up contracts in NEIS, providing support to PMs for project management. This role will also manage all pilot projects planned for 2025 initiatives.

Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, policy, public or business administration, architecture, real estate, urban planning, marketing, or related field.
  2. 3-6 years of experience with a well-developed understanding of relevant technical principles and their application to a program area, including conceptual expertise in at least one technical area and basic understanding of energy/environmental economic development issues.
  3. 3-6 years of project management experience, including developing and managing projects with minimal supervision, and experience in competitive solicitation phases.
  4. Proven ability to implement projects timely, prioritize workload, and demonstrate strategic thinking aligned with organizational goals.
  5. Experience leading working groups or teams, providing guidance, and supervising interns or junior staff, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and conference speaking experience.
  7. Solid project management skills for energy efficiency projects involving multiple building systems.
  8. Knowledge of energy systems in multifamily buildings, including HVAC, building envelope, and electrification measures.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; familiarity with specific program tools such as NEIS, SharePoint, JotForm, and Salesforce is a plus.
Responsibilities
  1. Support daily operations of multifamily programs.
  2. Assist with pipeline management, including inquiries, application processing, scoping, submittal review, and contract management in NEIS.
  3. Improve existing processes and manage pilot projects (~12 projects) within the LCP program.
  4. Resolve project issues, manage databases (including CRIS), and coordinate with QA/QC and technical review contractors.
  5. Perform additional duties as assigned.
