Role: Project Manager
Duration: 6 months extension possible

Position Overview
Client is seeking a Level 3 Project Manager to support a high-visibility engagement focused on:
- Data Privacy Program support
- Data Mapping / ROPA delivery
- Cybersecurity integration
- Cross-functional compliance and stakeholder coordination
This person will work closely with TechOps, engineering, product, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and privacy teams in a lean and fast-paced environment.
Required
- 5+ years of project/program management experience
- Experience in technology, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, or risk
- Strong technical program/project background
- Experience managing multi-workstream initiatives
- Comfortable working with engineers, product teams, and technical stakeholders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Strong executive-level status reporting and stakeholder management
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Insider risk program experience
- Privacy program knowledge:
- Data mapping
- ROPA
- DSAR
- PIA / DPIA
- Privacy operations
- Cybersecurity governance knowledge:
- Incident response
- Vulnerability management
- Secure development lifecycle
- Application security onboarding
- Compliance gates
- Familiarity with OneTrust is a plus
- Experience working in both Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
Key Responsibilities
Privacy / Data Mapping Program
- Act as the day-to-day PM for a Protiviti-led data privacy engagement
- Manage:
- Project plans
- Workstream trackers
- Budget and hours reporting
- Risk logs
- Weekly status updates
- Coordinate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation collection
- Support privacy technology enablement with external advisors and internal tech teams
- Help organize outputs into implementation roadmaps for:
- Privacy operations
- DSAR
- PIA maturity
- Data discovery and monitoring
Cybersecurity Integration
- Drive completion of cybersecurity integration action items, including:
- Application registration
- Vulnerability Disclosure Program rollout
- Cyber Risk Questionnaire items
- Cyber Control Self-Attestation gates
- AI/ML assessment intake processes
- Partner with cybersecurity, engineering, and product teams
- Support incident response coordination and tabletop exercises
- Maintain remediation and corrective action trackers
- Provide concise status updates to leadership and governance groups
Program / Stakeholder Management
- Support the Head of Compliance Privacy with consolidated action-item tracking
- Help manage vendor and procurement-related coordination:
- SOW execution
- Requisition tracking
- Milestone invoicing
- Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings
- Prepare executive-ready dashboards, committee materials, and risk registers
- Help improve methods, processes, and standards within scope
