Job summary

Somerset Staffing in RTP, NC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and complete large-scale privacy and data governance initiatives. You will coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Product, and business stakeholders to drive programs that meet client requirements.

You will also assist with budgeting, timelines, risks, and status reporting, translating regulatory requirements into actionable projects. Hybrid onsite in RTP with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading project or program management across privacy, data governance or legal operations.
• Experience managing multiple projects with cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong organization: timelines, dependencies, risks, follow-through.
• Experience with Legal, Privacy, Product or related corporate functions.
• Facilitation of meetings with clear objectives, agendas, decisions and action items.
• Ability to improve processes, workflows and operational effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven capability to work independently and in ambiguity.
• Experience developing project plans, status reports and program materials.

Hybrid - RTP

Lead and complete large-scale, client-driven projects. Communicate with clients and customers to determine their needs or requirements. Develop, design, and implement improved business processes or solutions to meet consumer expectations. Assist with budgeting and financial status reports. 3 years of experience are required.

Minimum Requirements: ("Must have" Qualifications)

• 1.) 5+ years of experience in project, program, legal operations, privacy programs and data governance
• 2.) Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams with cross-functional stakeholders and competing priorities.
• 3.) Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish timelines, track dependencies, identify risks, and drive follow-through.
• 4.) Experience working effectively with Legal, Privacy, Product, or other corporate functions.
• 5.) Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and working sessions, establish clear objectives and agendas, guide discussions, capture decisions and action items, and drive follow-up with cross-functional stakeholders.
• 6.) Experience identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and operational effectiveness.
• 7.) Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate project status, risks, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 8.) Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and navigate ambiguity.
• 9.) Experience developing project plans, status reporting, presentations, process documentation, and other program materials.

Desired Skills/Qualifications/System Experience requirements: ("Nice to have" Qualifications)

• 1.) Experience supporting a corporate privacy, data governance, compliance, legal operations, or risk management program.
• 2.) Experience coordinating initiatives that involve multiple Legal, Privacy, Product, or business stakeholders.
• 3.) Familiarity with privacy and data protection frameworks and regulations is a plus.
• 4.) Experience supporting privacy-related regulatory or certification initiatives and translating requirements into coordinated business activities.
• 5.) Including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), Global/Asia-Pacific CBPR systems, and related accountability or cross-border data transfer programs.
• 6.) Familiarity with adjacent privacy, security, and assurance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• 7.) Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, clarify ownership, establish governance, and increase operational efficiency.

--- I am the Privacy Legal Led. My team is responsible for the Privacy Program and Certifications. Would like a program manager with privacy experience in running data governance and privacy programs.

How long will you need this worker on assignment for this agreement? (Full term). Fulltime through mid-January

Will there be any travel funding needed for this PO? No but prefer to have someone onsite in RTP

Will you require any OT funding added to the PO for the quarter? No
